Sanofi is an innovative global healthcare company driven to improve people’s lives. It provides potentially life-changing treatments and the protection of life-saving vaccines to millions of people including in some of the world’s poorest markets. In Vietnam, it has more than 70 years of history serving consumers in the market.

Challenge

Our client is driven by the vision to become a leader in fast-moving consumer healthcare in Vietnam.

Back in 2013, they were seeking a marketing partner who could help them achieve that vision and meet the business objectives in the market. The goal was to make the Lactacyd brand among the leading hygiene care products for local consumers.

Approach

We leveraged our global experience combined with in-depth local market knowledge to help the client create a “glocalization” marketing strategy. Using both general and modern channels, we focused on bringing Lactacyd closer to millions of consumers.

The key approach was to focus on the mom-and-baby chain stores. One of major customers was the Con Cung mom-and-baby store chain that we have cooperated with since 2017 to drive strong development and stable growth potential for the Lactacyd products.

Result

Our client has recorded a 20-fold revenue increase in Vietnam after 10 years of cooperation with DKSH. Lactacyd has also become one of the most popular hygiene care products in the market.

We are trusted by Sanofi to continue providing a comprehensive portfolio of services, including warehousing, distribution, sales, and after-sales services for all Lactacyd products in Vietnam. This enables Sanofi to focus more on product research, development, and production as well as strategic planning to meet its growth goals and achieve the company's vision.
