Modernize car park solutions help elevate membership services for an iconic racing club in Hong Kong
Modernizing its car park management system enabled an established racing club in Hong Kong to provide more comprehensive services for its members.

The club is one of the most prestigious in Hong Kong. To cater to the growing number of members and to modernize its current car park facilities, it was looking for the best systems and the right solutions partner to work with.
Challenge
The first requirement by the club was that the new car park systems must be implemented at ten different locations. These sites include its headquarters, clubhouses and car park complexes that house over 100,000 members.
The customized car park solutions must be a thorough upgrade of the club’s existing parking system, which was then relying on manual and paper-based car entry control workflow. This was an inconvenience for its members.
The new system must also be integrated with its club membership system that features various membership mechanism, entitlement and privileges.
Approach
For us to design and develop a customized solution for the club, we engaged and held numerous planning meetings with the stakeholders to fully understand their needs. We conducted several trial runs and from there evaluated the results and proceeded to fine-tune the systems.
Our solution also enabled the club to integrate its car park management system with its comprehensive membership rules, events and race days. It was also adapted to the ten different premises managed by the club as well.
We ensured that the system is flexible enough to quickly adapt to new membership rules and adjust to the club’s management requirements.
Result
With the new car park systems in place, the club now has an automated car license plate recognition system and smart parking guidance system in all its facilities.
It has also received positive and encouraging feedback from its members. The features they benefited from most include immediate recognition of each member, membership status and details of their family members are also instantly conveyed to the club management.
The club is enjoying a more streamlined operation and improved coordination within the club. These include instant notification upon a member’s arrival to the respective service team, event venue, dining service, and facilitate the meet-and-greet customer experience.
