Laboratory relocation is a complex process that requires advanced planning, inventory management and the highest level of care to protect fragile scientific instruments and critical research units. At DKSH, we account for every aspect involved in the laboratory moving process and we will partner with you to ensure successful execution and completion.

Planning phase

• Discussion with customer about the instruments involved to be relocated and where they should be placed at the new location
• Engaging vendors of specialized and critical instruments on behalf of customers
• Preparing and acquiring Risk Assessment for the relocation
• Forecasting of moving dates, with buffers, for the relocation of instruments
• Prepare backup plans for any unforeseen situations

Shifting phase

• We will be onsite at both old and new location. From uninstallation, packing, loading onto truck and thereafter, unloading from truck and unpacking of instrument onto designated benches
• Providing real-time status update to customer based on workflow and progress
• Ensure that the instruments are installed at designated places

Follow-up phase

• Ensure that all types of reports and commissioning reports for critical instruments and etc are gathered and handed over to customer
• A proper handover by physically walking through the laboratory with customer
