Our Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability is one of DKSH’s five company values. We take responsibility for the environmental, social, and economic impacts of our business activities by making sustainability a focus area in our corporate strategy with oversight from our highest governance body, the Board of Directors.

Our Sustainability Strategy reflects four objectives:

Achieve Net-Zero Emissions

We are committed to set near-term company-wide emission reductions in line with climate science with the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). We focus on improving efficiency and optimizing transport routes and truck loads, installing more energy-saving equipment, increasing the share of electric and hybrid vehicles in our fleets as well as minimizing refrigerant leakages.

Carbon Removal Partnership with Klimate

DKSH partners with Klimate to bring tangible impacts to the environment while helping us reach net zero through two carbon-removal projects with accompanying environmental co-benefits.

Direct Air Capture
Direct Air Capture (DAR) is a revolutionary solution in DKSH’s decarbonization approach, whereby carbon dioxide is captured from the atmosphere and permanently locked away in underground rock formations.

Artisanal Biochar
DKSH harnesses the power of biochar for carbon sequestration via two projects located in Thailand. Additionally, we are creating economic opportunities for rural communities in our largest market of operations.
