Batteries are truly the future of energy storage and to ensure that they perform safely and reliably, they need to be put through their paces in tests. To conduct tests on lithium-ion batteries, BINDER offers temperature and climate chambers equipped with a range of safety packages that are aligned with EUCAR (European Council for Automotive R&D) Hazard Standards, environmental requirements and test types.

Battery test chambers are used in research and development, quality assurance and battery production alike. The packages can be adapted to a variety of BINDER models to meet test requirements relating to temperature range, climate range and test area size.

The EUCAR Hazard Standards are used to assess the level of danger associated with handling batteries. They have been defined by EUCAR by classifying the hazards presented to batteries and describing the consequences of them.     • Stainless-steel pressure relief flap installed in the middle on top of the unit
    • Enhanced door-locking mechanism with reinforced brackets
