DKSH Taiwan received the national recognition as “Outstanding Foreign Firms” at the 78th “Golden Merchant Awards 2024”, marking the company’s significant contributions to Taiwan’s socioeconomic growth, business innovation, and sustainable practices.
Taipei, Taiwan, November 4, 2024 – DKSH Taiwan was recognized as “Outstanding Foreign Firms” at the 78th Annual Merchant Day and the “Golden Merchant Awards 2024”, which was held by the General Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of China on November 1, 2024. DKSH Taiwan, among 13 foreign enterprises recognized this year, made a notable debut with significant contributions to commercial and sustainable development.
Being known as the “Oscars of the Business World”, the “Golden Merchant Awards 2024” acknowledges Taiwan’s outstanding entrepreneurs, foreign firms, foreign commerce agencies and more that drive Taiwan’s socioeconomic growth, and innovation via business excellence.
DKSH Taiwan’s success stems from impactful projects across its four Business Units. Highlights include partnerships with retail channels to expand client brand presence; accessibility to rare disease medications via health insurance coverage; and partnering with personal care as well as food and beverage companies to launch eco-friendly products via sustainable, cutting-edge specialty materials. DKSH Taiwan also introduced precision technology, developed fine dining hospitality facilities, and supported convenience stores in nationwide plastic reduction initiatives. Notably, DKSH Taiwan spotlighted the potentials of Taiwan’s healthcare sector by having its OP1 Distribution Center, Taiwan’s first automated medical cold chain logistics center as well as the largest automated healthcare logistics center in Asia, which earned Gold Excellence in the 2024 “ESG Sustainability and Logistics Award”, setting a new benchmark in local healthcare logistics.
