The annual event, which celebrates R&D excellence for personal care ingredients around the world, will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris, France from April 2-4, 2019.

Congratulation to our valued business partners, Polymer Expert and Sumitomo Seika, for each winning a prestigious award during in-cosmetics Global 2019:

  • Polymer Expert won the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award 2019 for its functional ingredient EMC30, an oil gelling agent from a natural origin, which is bio-sourced to ensure viscosity, suspensivity and excellent stability
  • Sumitomo Seika won the Sensory Award 2019 for its AQUPEC MG N40R®, a water soluble thickener for silky textures and cold effect formulations

 These innovative ingredients can be used in a wide range of cosmetic applications.

Polymer Expert EMC30 is a new thickening agent, 97% natural origin and bio-sourced specially designed for polar to medium polar oils. This new ingredient brings transparency, suspensivity, viscosity, and thixotropy to anhydrous gels.

Sumitomo Seika AQUPEC MGN40R®: is an innovative ingredient that provide smoothness and lightness for a unique and impressive silky texture and can be used in cold-effect formulations. This water-soluble thickener can be used in a wide range of cosmetics applications such as skin care, make up, hair care and toiletries.
