ZetaClass: Dynamic Light Scattering Training Workshop

DKSH’s very own Dynamic Light Scattering Training Workshop is back by popular demand!

This is a physical 2-day training course. Our expert will dive into the basic principles of light scattering, share practical tips via a live measurement of customers’ sample and talk about supporting techniques for nanoparticle analysis. Join us to advance your knowledge and analytical skills for optimal productivity of your Zetasizer Instrument.

This course is designed for users of the Zetasizer Advance Lab, Pro or Ultra.

By the end of the workshop, you should be equipped with the skills set to:

  • Understand the basics of DLS and its limitations, and how this limitation can be mitigated using MADLS and Adaptive correlation
  • Perform pre-measurement sample preparation and post-measurement software analysis with confidence
  • Examine measurement parameters to assess data quality and troubleshoot issues
  • Select the most suitable instrument for your application with the knowledge of unique features each DLS model offers
  • Gain knowledge on complementary techniques such as Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) to draw holistic, accurate and reliable data for nanoparticles analysis

The workshop is highly recommended if you:

  • Are new to the Zetasizer instrument or light scattering
  • Are experienced but need a refresher on the features and applications
  • Need to understand data generation for review and troubleshooting
  • Have a new application and need the background develop, validate, and execute new methods
  • Are looking to upgrade to a new Zetasizer and interested to know about its additional features

More information:

  • Training materials such as lecture notes and relevant application notes will be provided
  • Recordings are not provided
  • This is intended to be an interactive workshop. Come with queries or any technical challenges you face, and our expert will answer them in person.
  • Indicate in the registration form if you want your samples to be measured live during the workshop. Limited slots available, on first-come, first-served basis.
  • We reserve the right to postpone the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In the case of postponement, you will be notified by email.
