The escomatic EC 08, the logical and innovative sequence of the famous D6 series with CNC technology. This center of machining allows the economic machining of complex parts in small and large series up to a diameter of 8.0mm. Equipped with a four-tool chuck, two of which can work simultaneously, with up to 12 pick-up tools, this new cutting machine allows the use of cutting tools in the form of standard commercial pads.

This versatile and flexible cutting center is equipped with a rotating tool head (10'000 rpm) with 4 independent cutting tools. Its principle makes it possible to machine 2 parts at the same time: one part in turning or frontal machining, another part in back take-up in the counter-spindle. This machine offers great flexibility thanks to the use of a new concept with front, rear and transverse recovery operations positioned on a single central unit. The feeding of the material is done by torches and rectifier or bar feeder to load bars.
