The Hong Kong government plans to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. However, with the number of private motor vehicles continuing to escalate annually, Hong Kong is also moving ahead with its road map on popularizing electric vehicles (EVs) to phase out combustion-engine vehicles by 2035.

To support this transition to EVs, DKSH Technology has stepped in with advanced parking solutions and EV charging stations for various industries in the market including shopping malls and retail facilities as many of these operators are looking to upgrade and modernize their car park facilities.

Among the various projects we have worked on include planning, developing, and installation of a charging infrastructure for EVs at a leading retail mall in Hong Kong. We also customized the software with a user-interactive EV charger kiosk to house the system.

In addition to the environmental benefits, these businesses are also leveraging new insights involving user experiences, daily practices, and data analytics in their operations. Meanwhile, EV owners get to enjoy added parking conveniences while having a better consumer experience at the shopping centers.
