Why Multiplex? Advancing High-plex Digital PCR into the Mainstream Listen with ReadSpeaker Video

Stilla Technologies has introduced into the market the naica® system, using Crystal Digital PCR™ technology for the precise and highly sensitive quantification of nucleic acids. This powerful, yet easy-to-use digital PCR (dPCR) platform is the highest plexing dPCR instrument available, with six fluorescent channels used to detect multiple genetic targets in a single run.

Until recently, long hands-on time, low sensitivity, and the number of consumables required to run an experiment hampered the potential of digital PCR (dPCR) in labs. Crucially, multiplexing was limited to only two detection channels, in many cases. The naica® system was designed to address such limitations, featuring user-friendly operation, intuitive software and data analysis, and increased multiplexing capabilities.

This talk, given at ASHG 2021, features Stilla CTO and founder Remi Dangla introducing leading researchers from SAGA Diagnostics, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and University of Athens, who presented multipex dPCR data generated on the naica® system and discussed the potential for this burgeoning technology across a breadth of research and clinical applications.
