Challenge

As industrial land prices have steadily escalated over the years in Taiwan, this represents a challenge for manufacturers who needs land to manage their waste disposal generated from their operations.

The market’s stringent wastewater regulations also posed another hurdle for the company. To safeguard the environment and respond to public demands, Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration revised the required conditions for enterprises to operate wastewater treatment facilities properly and improve the quality of Taiwan’s waterbodies.

DKSH proposed the Novatec ultrasonic precision cleaning system and Borer chemicals cleaning solutions. Both brands are recognized in the industry for their wastewater management efficiency.

Novatec’s systems are well known for their surface preparation prior to PVD-CVD treatment and surface stripping. Their optimized equipment size is also ideal when land efficiency is a concern for the company.

Result

The solution has helped our customer to reduced the amount of wastewater accumulated from their current manufacturing processes and this subsequently reduced the company’s wastewater disposal costs, as tools cleaning was a labor-intensive part of the overall manufacturing process.

The efficacy of this move has had a significant impact on the quality of the finished products and governs the efficiency of the manufacturing process. The company recorded a stable production performance with enhanced production efficiency and improved product quality.
